New Jersey Council on Safety and Health (NJCOSH) is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 by a handful of dedicated Workers’ Compensation attorneys as the first New Jersey Bar Association in their field. Our organization is comprised of petitioners’ Workers’ Compensation attorneys, treating physicians, union members and any other interested party. NJCOSH members work together to fight for the rights of injured workers and their families throughout New Jersey.
NJCOSH offers all members access to our unique online Listserve through which valuable communication is shared. Members can submit emails and get timely answers from other members to difficult questions about the Workers’ Compensation field including case references and citations. In this way, our members have access to the minds of seasoned and experienced Workers’ Compensation attorneys all over the state. On average the LISTSERVE generates over 50 informative messages and communications per week and has proved to be an invaluable resource for our members.
Members are also invited to our bi-annual membership meetings with the Chief Judge and Director of the Workers’ Compensation Court of New Jersey and other guest speakers. These meetings address legislative progress, COSH’s direction and operation, and provides members a chance to voice their opinions and concerns.
COSH members will also be kept up to date on events such as CLE courses, fundraisers for our supported politicians, speakers and other networking events.
We also offer our members a variety of other valuable services depending on their specific needs.
