Here, Petitioner argues on behalf of an injured worker for the treasury, within the State of New Jersey. While utilizing a ride sharing company to transport herself and others to and from work, the Petitioner was injured in a motor vehicle accident. Arguing that due to the contractual nature between the parties, i.e the ride sharing company and the State of New Jersey, in conjunction with the liberal interpretation of Workers’ Compensation rules, Petitioner argues that her accident should be covered under Workers’ Comp.
