In this testimony, Dr. basically admits that he no longer receives any additional training, hasn’t been to a class in years, barely reviews the materials, ect. For these reasons and others, it might be best not to allow Dr. Canario to testify as an expert.
More importantly, the Dr. does not understand the standard for occupational disease in NJ, and believes that a herniated disc can come from anywhere – including God – but certainly not from work.
